EXTRA: Looters list should include players of Umbrella Utd and Broomers Fc, says Shehu Sani

Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna central, says
the federal government must be impartial when
publishing the list of alleged looters.

Adetokunbo Mumuni, executive secretary, Socio-
Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP),
had quoted Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the
federation, as saying President Muhammadu Buhari
had directed all relevant agencies to compile
documents on names of all “looters ”.

The directive is to enforce the judgment of a federal
high court in Lagos, which had ordered the
government to publish the names and amounts
discovered.

Reacting in a Facebook post , Sani said the list should
not be limited to players of “Umbrella United”.

“The federal government’s decision to ‘publish the
names of looters’ is commendable.
