Johannesburg and Cape Town are amongst the top three cheapest cities in the world to enjoy a beer and cigarette.
According to the Deutsche Bank's annual Sin Index‚ Johannesburg is the second cheapest city in the world for smoking and drinking as five pints and two packets of cigarettes costs $14 (R221).

The cheapest place for drinks and smokes is the Filipino capital of Manila where the amount of beer and cigarettes will set you back $11.60 (R183).
"For those wanting a real cheap ‘cheap date’‚ India‚ Indonesia‚ the Philippines and South Africa are the places to go‚" Deutsche Bank strategist Jim Reid said in the Sin Index report.
Johannesburg and Cape Town are also amongst the cheapest cities to get away to for a two-night break.
Like Mumbai‚ Bangalore and New Delhi‚ a getaway in Johannesburg and Cape Town costs under $1000 (R15000).
Melborne remains the most expensive place in the world to drink and smoke with a night on the town costing over R1054.
