Snuggled within the verdant embrace of Florida’s lush landscape, the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort emerges like a hidden jewel, inviting weary souls to indulge in a retreat transcending the ordinary. As you approach the course, the vivid beauty of the awe-inspiring scenery attracts you to its welcoming surroundings, saying yes, explore my richness.
The Copperhead Course, famed for hosting the Valspar Championship, unfurls before you like a masterpiece painted by the hand of Mother Nature herself.
Each hole is a testament to the artistry of golf course design.
Where emerald fairways weave through towering pines and shimmering ponds.
The views are breathtaking; there was no sun to cast a golden hue across the landscape, let alone illuminate the vibrant wildflowers, no!
However, the dark cloudy sky cast the richness of its shadows over the delighting view of the course, highlighting the texture of the landscape for golfers and just explorers like me, to enjoy.
As you walk the meticulously maintained paths, you feel a profound sense of peace enveloping you.
The air, imbued with the earthy scent of freshly mown grass, is mingling with the sweet aroma of blooming jasmine. Here, time seems to slow down, yielding for moments of reflection and connection with nature.
The tranquil surroundings urge you to take a deep breath, let go of the stress often clinging to your mind.
Of all the thrills, the outstanding beauty of the Copperhead Course lingers in your heart long after your visit. “Each swing of the club feels like a dance with the earth,” a golfer told Godfrey Times Travel. “It’s a harmonious exchange between man and nature,” another golfer on the course added.
The gentle challenge of the course inspires both seasoned golfers and novices alike to appreciate the game in a new light, surrounded by such awe-inspiring scenery.
As you prepare to leave, a sense of longing takes root within you—a yearning to return to this oasis of calm and beauty—oh yes!
The Copperhead Course and Innisbrook Resort are not mere destinations; they are experiences awakening the senses and rejuvenating the soul to the energy and renewed mind it needs.
You leave with a promise to yourself: to come back again, to bask in the tranquility of this paradise. To savor the enchanting views, having etched themselves into your memory.
AND THREE OTHER THINGS...
HOME OUTSIDE HOME
The commitment to creating a sanctuary for retreat and relaxation sets Innisbrook on the exceptionality of a destination resort. This golf resort exudes a warmth making you feel at home—a home, outside home, yet enveloped in luxury. Cozy nooks invite you to curl up with a good book. While the sparkling pools beckon for lazy afternoons under the sun.
THE DINING
The dining options abound, each offering a taste of local flavors tantalizing the palate and nourishing the soul. Smash Burger kicked off the dining thrills. There are burgers — however, none is like this.
Breakfast in the Market Salamander Grill had the welcoming feel of genuine hospitality. Thanks to Danielle, Jackie and Danielle (there are two Danielle’s) and Bart, the food and beverage manager who manifested the qualities of leadership, ensuring every guest enjoyed the food adventure—and yes, it’s a buffet!
LOCH NESS
How can I not visit Loch Ness, a monster pool that is an outstanding resort attraction, marvelous with its offerings? I couldn’t dare! Addalie, the vibrant pool attendant on duty when Godfrey Times Travel visited, shared what you can explore inside the Loch Ness with me in a travel chat. Watch it here on Godfrey Times’ homepage.
