KENYA 2020: Heroines Pitch kicks off with Self Identity

KENYA, NAIROBI - Self Identity, it is what makes a human being. It is what makes us who we are. If anybody should lose it, that would be disastrous. It is the most essential of all principles. It is principal. Simply put, it is all encompassing. It is what brings about discipline, decorum, decency, diligent and dignity that makes us to make a difference wherever we are. These enumerated qualities are the fore runners of Self Identity. But sadly, very sadly, it is neglected in our world today. That is why you see the world is in disarray.

Knowing this, Heroines Pitch, a Non Governmental Organization building women into having a voice with impact and help them discover the hidden virtues of a real woman in nations building, kicked off the first batch of its mentorship program with "Kenya 2020", themed: Self Identity.

The shaping and molding NGO visited St Mary's Viwandani School where the speakers: Katherine Judy and Nancie Maritim who are regional and country directors of the Heroines Pitch, engaged the students on the purpose of Self Identity-its power and benefits.

Held on Friday 7, February 2020, the know of Self Identity was a huge discovery for the students who appreciated the wealth of insights the program provided.

"We are glad about the welcoming of the program by the students", Miriam Teboah Boateng the president and founder of Heroines Pitch told Godfrey Times. "The next batch which is slated for March 7, will be in the Central Region of Ghana and it going to be a health walk and clean up exercise". Then "Keep Accra Safe and Clean" project will follow through on the 28th of March 2020. She added.

Like the Mother's Day 2019, this females movement is set to up its impact with the soon-to-come Mother's Day 2020 celebrations with a day of health screening and massive give-aways for one thousand mothers of the Akyem Asafo, Eastern Region, Ghana.
