DISCLAIMER: We have not had any business dealing with Filani, says Olujoye

Ayodeji Olujoye, principal consultant, AY Stitches Ventures says his brand has never had any business dealings with Nollywood actress Mosun Filani.

In a statement seen by Godfrey Times Travel, Olujoye clarifies that the tailor in question is not in any way connected to the real AY Stitches brand.

The leading fashion couturier advise clients to double-check references to AY Stitches and ascertain exact identity in each case.

He encouraged present and would-be clients to connect with the brand via its website, www.aystitches.com.ng, or its Instagram handle, @real_aystitches.

Below is the statement 

Our attention has been drawn to a report published by Information Nigeria and some other online platforms over an altercation between Nollywood actress, Mosun Filani, and one AY Stitches, a tailor on Instagram. 

Having received reactions from various quarters, we would like to clarify that the tailor in question is not in any way connected to the real AY Stitches brand. Please do not be misled by this issue of business name confusion. 

Since we began operating as a duly registered business entity over twenty years ago, we have served an elite crop of clients many of whom are public figures, including Nollywood actors and actresses. However, we have not had any business dealings with Mosun Filani. 

Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction remains unwavering, as all our clients can attest. We continue to hold ourselves up to very high standards while also assisting upcoming tailors and fashion designers to do the same through our training and mentoring program.  


In view of the multiplicity of businesses whose names are similar to ours, we advise clients to double-check references to AY Stitches and ascertain exact identity in each case.
