'Nigeria a fallen giant'...fallen so badly rising again seems impossible

By Ogar  Andor

Oh thou giant, why have you fallen so low? When you were born, you grew up so tall and strong ,nothing could hinder your growth and development, you fought very hard and gained your freedom.

The comfort of your brothers and sisters were of paramount interest, dignity held in high esteem, unity and peace were the first words spoken by you, the word corruption could not be pronounced by you, above all bribery and corruption you despised with great passion.

Solidarity was all you knew , peace and harmony thrived in the midst of all: Ah!! Suddenly you tripped and fell o my giant.

You have fallen so badly rising again seems impossible; A huge clamour for
division countermands your unity and erased your peaceful state, your watchwords exists no more.bribery is the order of the day, you have made corruption your foremost matter, solidarity means nothing to you, insecurity has taken over, your growth has become stunted, o my giant why hast thou fallen: Nigeria the giant of Africa when shall thou rise again??
