Iconic Yoruba comedic actor, Alhaji Kareem Adepoju, popularly known as Baba Wande, says Osunfunke has put me in the know.
In an interview with Godfrey Times Movies, Baba Wande said that evidently no state in the entire country is as great as the state of Osun.
He is hugely glad to be part of the must-see movie OSUNFUNKE. That brought to light the immense potential of the state.
“I commend ARA, the Queen and goddess of drums, for this immense initiative. I thank her even more for ensuring it comes to fruition despite the tradition of a higher challenge that goes with higher dimensions.”
“I also acknowledge the support of the government of the state of Osun for being a contributory factor to the projection of the potentials of Osun.”
“I am a citizen of the state of Osun, living in the capital, Osogbo. Truth is, I was completely unaware of this magnificent site of times gone by, but Osunfunke has put me in the know.,” the veteran Yoruba actor, loved for his comedic feel in movies, told Godfrey Times Movies.
Drum goddess ARA is an outstanding personality with a wealth of innovation. It’s a given that the movie Osunfunke derives from it.
However, what interests me most of all is greatness brought to light what is great.
Osun is great and so very much is ARA who has been ever-constant in showcasing our culture with her global recognition.
Baba Wande is Chief Otunba Kashimawo in the must-see movie.
