Pastors of the Testimonial Chapel International are on a four-day training program on Leadership and leadership development workshop by revered therapist and counselor ,Olutayo Olushola of Leading Factor Concept International.

A training on leadership in general and about causing the shifting of mind known as the paradigm shift to provide the enablement of being more effective in their ministering.

The 4-day training started yesterday with Mr.Olushola knowing their expectations from this program and thereafter watched a video of Sean Stephenson, one of the esteemed therapist's mentor and it was indeed a good start.

Engagingly, he took them into a journey of never-known insightful teachings on leadership.

He told the participants that leadership is about solving problems not for people looking for a position. Leadership is about mind work not physical work.

Leadership is a decision not a position.you must decide. No view is rubbish, you must learn to appreciate everybody's perspective.he added

Furthering on, he enlightened them on the desires of being at the top. Saying, top is relative. your top is different from my top. Why envy a choir master when you are a preacher?

Finding that only three out of the Ten participants are on Twitter, he said Twitter is a place where people know that you exist. Social media is not a waste of time for people who know what it is for. He added.

"If grace take you to where your character cannot sustain you...you will fall with the speed of light" he ended his session on that note.

Still on day 1, Mr.Olushola introduced the participants to renowned Leadership Development and Counselor, Kayode Odutayo, who started the session two with the dynamics of vision.

Participants enjoyed a journey of impactful moral lessons and were indulged interactingly with never-known teachings on vision and its dynamics.

As they were being led into the spheres of vision with rarely heard perspectives and teachings, participants could not help but encourage Mr.Kayode with agreeable nods with their heads.

Having covered the dynamics of vision, Mr Kayode still on that journey, drove into leadership development. Told participants that leadership is about showing the way but leadership development is about showing the way and also following the way i.e you inspire and motivate.

"Leadership is based on principles while leadership development is based on practice." He said

"The person who works better with people is a follower. The person who helps people work better is a manager. The person who develops better people to work better is a leader." He added.

Stressing on the importance of mentoring, he said those who refuse to mentor people will never be free from tormentors of great troubles.
