Etisalat Nigeria says it is not being investigated by the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
as a result of any petition.
The telecommunications company also added that it
had paid about 42 percent of its original loan, taken
from a consortium of banks.
In a statement signed by Ibrahim Dikko, Etisalat vice-
president of corporate affairs, the telco said it is
keeping up with its obligations to the banks.
