Delta Airlines said it has lifted the grounding of flights worldwide and departures will resume on a limited basis following a computer outage Monday morning that stranded tens of thousands of passengers.
The airline added that lengthy delays and cancellations will continue.
"While inquiries are high and wait times are long, our customer service agents are doing everything they can to assist," Delta said in a statement.
The airline blamed the three-hour computer outage on a power failure at its hub in the southeastern U.S. city of Atlanta, Georgia.
