It is one of the most heartbreaking splits of 2016 so far. Taylor Swift and DJ Calvin Harris were everyone's favourite celeb couple but reports this week claim that the couple have called time on their 15 month relationship.
Several US-based reports all claim that Taylor and Calvin have split, breaking the hearts of millions of Taylor and Calvin fans in the process.
Following news of the split earlier this week, more details about their breakup have emerged.
According to sources speaking to People magazine "there was no drama" behind the break up and that "no one cheated."
In fact, the breakup has simply been put down to the two not being a good match.
"They were just not very compatible in different areas in their relationship. The touring and traveling didn't help. It seemed like they were more friends than lovers," an insider told E! News.
They also claim that Taylor was left "disappointed" by Calvin's lack of support for her when she really needed it.
"Taylor was really disappointed in Calvin and felt like he wasn't there for her. The relationship wasn't progressing the way she wanted it to. She felt like he wasn't taking it seriously enough and wouldn't come through for her when she needed him most. She felt down and like her needs weren't being met. She doesn't want to get back together," the source added.
Another source told the site that Calvin was the one to call time on the relationship and that Taylor has flown home after the breakup to seek the comfort of close friends and family.
"She was in Nashville with her family and they have been helping her through the break up," the source said.
