Just days after Johnny Depp lost his mother it has emerged that his wife Amber Heard has filed for divorce.
The news comes just 15 months after the Hollywood couple tied-the-knot in February last year.
According to international entertainment website TMZ, Amber filed a divorce petition on Monday over "irreconcilable differences.”
The actor has reportedly asked a judge to decline Amber's request for spousal support.
The A-list couple’s romance reportedly blossomed after he split from his longtime partner Vanessa Paradis.
Their whirlwind romance began after they worked together in the 2011 film The Rum Diary.
Johnny’s mom, Betty Sue Palmer died last Friday morning at the age of 81 after suffering from a long illness.
